The Influence of Industrial Output, Financial Development, and Renewable and Non-Renewable Energy on Environmental Degradation in Newly Industrialized Countries

The prime objective of this study is to examine the impact industrial output and financial development on carbon dioxide emissions for a panel 10 newly industrialized countries, namely Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines, South Africa, Thailand, Turkey. empirical analysis was conducted between 1982 2019 by employing various estimation tests techniques. different account cross-sectional dependence in series model. Therefore, relevant unit root conducted, we found that all become stationary after first difference. long run parameters were estimated, there significant long-run relationship output, development, emissions. are be significantly affected both domestic income while being negatively development. Industrial production coefficient estimates highly elastic when compared other estimates. results also indicate unidirectional short-run causality from trade openness emissions, urban population output. However, no evidence bidirectional causality. concludes sustainable economic growth can achieved using contemporary efficient techniques, environmentally friendly inputs industries, increasing vigilance public private sectors. Both sectors should therefore pushed use more modern, eco-friendly, productive processing It recommended commercial encouraged embrace cutting-edge, friendly, methods.
